Chelsea travel to Everton on Saturday with both sides decimated by injuries and doubts, six ruled out for the Blues, and six doubts or absent for the hosts .

The Blues are reeling from their Champions League exit to PSG on Tuesday, and now face a Goodison Park battle without key men.

THE CHELSEA CASUALTIES

Reece James Out. Hamstring injury suffered at the end of the Newcastle game. “It could be a few weeks,” Liam Rosenior admitted. April return likely.

Trevoh Chalobah Out. Ankle injury picked up against PSG. At least a few weeks.

Filip Jorgensen Out. Injured in the first leg against PSG. Out until April.

Levi Colwill Out. Back in modified training, but not yet ready. On course to return this season.

Mykhailo Mudryk Out (suspended). Ongoing doping case, not included in final count.

Tyrique George Out (ineligible). Cannot play against his parent club.

The doubts: Benoit Badiashile (illness, should return), Malo Gusto (same situation), Jamie Bynoe Gittens (hamstring, assessed).

THE EVERTON LIST

Jack Grealish Out for the season. Surgery done, now focusing on comeback.

The doubts: Charly Alcaraz (looking to return from late February injury), Jarrad Branthwaite (assessed through the week), James Tarkowski (identical situation).

THE VERDICT

Six out, three doubts for Chelsea. Three out, three doubts for Everton. Goodison Park under the lights, both sides missing key men.

It’s going to be a battle of the bench. And whichever squad copes better might just take the points
